Kochi: The Crime Branch has sent a notice to Kavya Madhavan again to appear for interrogation in connection with the actress assault case. Kavya has been directed to present before the Crime Branch at 11 am on Monday. It is hinted that the interrogation will be held at her residence in Aluva.
Though the Crime Branch had sent a notice to question Kavya Madhavan at the residence ‘Padmasarovaram’ in Aluva, they abandoned the plan citing she could not be interrogated at the house of an accused in the case. The investigation team also pointed out that there would be hinderances in setting up technical facilities for the questioning. The statement of Kavya have to be recorded in camera and the team informed that they had to show forensic evidence and use projectors while interrogation.
Although the witness can choose the venue of interrogation, the investigation team had asserted that she should cooperate for quizzing at a location where the facilities can be arranged.
