Kochi: The trial court on Saturday directed the Crime Branch to identify those who saw visuals from the memory card kept under court’s custody in connection with the actress attack case. The court inquired who was the owner of Vivo phone with a Jio SIM card in it.
The judge questioned whether the investigation team aims to finish the reprobe or not. The Crime Branch had submitted a report on the progress of the probe in trial court.
The prosecution and related officials were in charge of preserving the memory card. The judge asserted that he has no intention to see the visuals. When the investigation team approached the court four times to access the memory card, the court denied the request. The trial court judge also added that no one shall be placed under suspicion after finding a change in hash value of the memory card.
Meanwhile, the trial court has decided to consider the case on Tuesday. The High Court will look into the request of the investigation team to allow more time for the probe on Monday.
