Kochi: VP Vijeesh, fourth accused in the actress assault case, has been granted bail by the High Court on conditions. With this, all the other accused in the case except Pulsar Suni were granted bail.
Vijeesh approached the court claiming that the trial of the actress assault case is being delayed and it has been 5 years since he is in jail. Based on this, the court granted bail. The second accused Martin has been granted bail two days back.
Vijeesh was arrested along with Pulsar Suni from the garment shop of Kavya Madhavan (Lakshya) by the Crime Branch.
Meanwhile, HC dismissed the petition filed by Sagar Vincent, one of the former employees of Kavya’s ‘Lakshya’ who is also one of the witnesses in the case against the Crime Branch.
