Kochi: All the six accused, including Dileep, submitted their mobile phones in court on Monday. Three phones belonging to Dileep, two phones of his brother Anoop and one phone of his sister's husband Suraj were handed over to the registrar in a sealed cover.

The High Court had directed that the mobile phones of all the accused in the murder conspiracy case, including actor Dileep, should be handed over to the Registrar General before 10.15 am on Monday.

The court will be considering Dileep's anticipatory bail application and the prosecution's appeal on Monday. The case is being heard by Justice P Gopinath. Dileep may ask the court to grant him bail as he had cooperated with the investigation. Dileep received the mobile phones sent for forensic inspection on Sunday and Monday morning. Dileep's lawyer had said that they would hand over the phones as per the court order once they get it back.

However, the crime branch had said that Dileep had four phones, but Dileep claimed he has only three. The Crime Branch will make a clarification on the fourth phone.
