Pathanamthitta: Following the death of actor Ullas Pandalam’s wife, his father-in-law Sivanandan claimed that no skirmishes existed between his daughter and the actor. Asha might have killed herself due to any other mental issues, said Sivanandan by confirming that his family has no complaint against Ullas.
Asha was found dead on the first floor of the house on Tuesday morning. A team of Pandalam police arrived at the house and spotted Asha hanging in the open terrace following Ullas informed them that his wife was missing.
Reportedly Asha and Ullas had a minor quarrel with each other, following which she went to sleep on the first floor with her children. According to the statement of Ullas, he went to them after a while, but found only the children in the room. Immediately, he searched the house and reported the police as he failed to find her.
Asha’s body was spotted in the terrace of the first floor amid the clothes spread out for drying. Ullas might have not seen the body due to this when he searched for her, said police.
Meanwhile, Asha’s father said that he had spoken to her by phone on the previous day and she was alright then.
