Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Wednesday rejected a plea seeking to quash a case against Congress leaders for disrupting traffic in Kochi. The case was registered over a complaint filed by actor Joju George.

Rejecting the plea, the court pointed out that the charges including disruption of traffic will stand against the accused.

Meanwhile, the court nullified other charges including the attack on the actor and using abusive words.

Joju George filed a complaint against the Congress men following a skirmish in Kochi. The actor faced the wrath of the Congress activists after he questioned their road blockade in the name of a protest against fuel price hike. The angry activists vandalised the actor's car and alleged that he was drunk.
