Kochi: The investigation team on Monday has questioned actor Dileep for seven hours in connection with the further probe into the actress attack case. The questioning supervised by Crime Branch Chief ADGP Sreejith took place at the Aluva Police Club. It is learnt that Dileep will be questioned on Tuesday as well.
Dileep was summoned for questioning after director Balachandrakumar alleged that the actor had seen the visuals of the attack against the actress and influenced the witnesses.
As part of the probe, the investigation team examined seven phones belonging to Dileep and his relatives. It was revealed that WhatsApp chats and voice clips of people in the movie industry were destroyed. However, most of this lost data was recovered with the help of forensic experts.
