Activists who are believers can visit Sabarimala: Minister
Thiruvananthapuram: Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran corrected his previous stand about the entry of young women in Sabarimala. The activists also can enter the temple as part of belief, he responded.
Kadakampally Surendran clarified that his previous stand meant they should not visit Sabarimala as part of protests. Those who had darshan are not activists. They had made it clear already, he said.
Earlier, Kadakampally’s stand that young women should not come to trek Sabarimala was in news as the chief minister, CPM and LDF already supported women entry. He corrected the stand after the chief minister took a firm stand regarding this, it is indicated.
