Palakkad: Pallakad Kasaba police said that Swapna Suresh may not be arrested immediately in the case registered against her. Further action will be based on a detailed investigation into the case. Police have registered a case based on a complaint of inciting riot and forgery.
The complaint lodged by CP Pramod alleged that Swapna tried to incite violence by contradicting her earlier statement. The complainant claimed that Swapna was leaking statements and was sending wrong messages to the public.
It was alleged that the latest protests across the state was a result of Swapna's recent revelations. Therefore, an investigation was sought in the case.
