Kozhikode: Minister for Devaswom, Kadakampally Surendran says he does not believe that the royal family of Travancore would undertake any action against the goodwill of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple.

He was responding to the remarks made by senior CPM leader and Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman V S Achuthanandan that those who are afraid of opening the vault B in the temple should be suspected.

Kadakampally said he is not of the opinion that the royal family has anything to hide and invalidated the VS' comments that they took away utensils kept inside the vaults.

Earlier, VS had alleged that the royals opposing the opening of the vault is not an issue of God’s will but the will of some individuals.
