Kochi: The Special Investigation Team, probing the actress abduction and attack case, has reportedly collected some information from singer-cum-actress Rimi Tomy related to the US tour undertaken by Dileep and a team of artistes.
The investigators, meanwhile, denied reports that she was interrogated by the SIT over the case. The police said they contacted Rimi over phone to collect the details.
Earlier there were reports that Rimi’s financial and land dealings with Dileep are under the police scanner.
Rimi is a close friend of Dileep, an accused in the case, and his wife Kavya Madhavan.
Meanwhile, Dileep, who has been lodged in Aluva sub-jail after being remanded to judicial custody in the case, will move a second bail application in the High Court. The actor decided to approach the HC again after a meeting with his lawyers in jail on Wednesday.
The actor had a discussion with his counsel Ramkumar’s son Ram Prasad and Manoj Kumar at Jail Superintendent’s room for about 20 minutes.
