AAP victory in Delhi is sparkling, gives hope: Shreyams Kumar

“These are times when all political parties must realise that the nation’s sustenance is more important than temporary gains. The poll result also shows that the people are keenly observing the unity among secular forces,” the LJD leader added.

Kozhikode: Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) Kerala state president M. V. Shreyams Kumar said that Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in the New Delhi assembly election is sparkling and that it gives hope.

Congratulating Arvind Kejriwal for regaining power for the third time, Shreyams Kumar said that the AAP victory reflected the awareness of the people regarding the future of secular India.

“Arvind Kejriwal’s victory shows that the development issues that affect crores of people in this country is the most important. Kejriwal presented to the voters the problems of those struggling in the society and provided electricity and drinking water for free. Granted admission in schools to underprivileged children. Provided healthcare for the poor through mohalla clinics. Kejriwal defeated communal-divide tactics using the power of development,” added Shreyams Kumar.

The BJP tried its usual tactics of communal divide in New Delhi but the national capital dismissed such attempts, he said and added that opposition votes converging is also a strong message from the election.

“These are times when all political parties must realise that the nation’s sustenance is more important than temporary gains. The poll result also shows that the people are keenly observing the unity among secular forces,” the LJD leader added.
