Kozhencherry: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan asserted that the Congress cannot emerge as a political power to defend BJP in the current scenario. KPCC presently has a president who had publicly reacted that he would go to BJP if necessary, the CM said. He also said that a prominent leader of Congress will switch to BJP before the upcoming assembly election.
“Many of the Congress leaders have already found shelter in BJP,” said CM.
A group of parties and organisations which believe that the BJP will doom the nation if continue in power has to be formed. An alternative politics under the joint venture of regional parties will be the future of the nation, opined CM.
CM accused the Centre of attempting to strangle the state financially. CPM will launch a procession with massive public participation against the Centre’s move to throttle Kerala’s economy, said CM.
CM alleged that the union government waives off loans and taxes of corporates while letting thousands to lay on streets.
The Kerala government has offered more jobs than the Union Public Service commission and also levelled up the quality in the higher education sector. Infrastructure developments worth Rs 64,000 crore have been implemented in the state. In all these endeavours, Kerala has resisted the Centre’s attempts to subdue the state.
