A.M.M.A shouldn't take hasty decision about Bineesh Kodiyeri: Suresh Gopi
Thiruvananthapuram: Actor turned MP Suresh Gopi has stated that the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (A.M.M.A) should not take any hasty decision about Bineesh Kodiyeri who was arrested by Enforcement Directorate.
Suresh Gopi was addressing the media while inaugurating the election committee office of BJP candidate V V Rajesh who is contesting from Poojapura ward of Thiruvananthapuram corporation.
It is the court of law that decides who is the culprit in the case. So A.M.M.A should take a decision against Bineesh once the court pronounces the verdict, said Suresh Gopi.
“This association provides financial support for food and medicine for the actors who dedicated their youth for the film industry. Hence, existence of the association is necessary in this period,” he added.
Suresh Gopi expressed hope that A.M.M.A will take an appropriate decision on Bineesh Kodiyeri’s case.
“We don’t need to take a decision in a hurry. Let the probe team identify the truth. Earlier, hasty decisions of the association had ended up in controversies. A.M.M.A is not a political outfit," pointed out Suresh Gopi.
