Mumbai: Addressing the leadership issues in the party, NCP meet held here decided to retain A K Saseendran at the ministerial post. It was also decided that T P Peethambaran Master will continue as NCP state president.
The meeting held on Thursday, raised two options. One was to change Saseendran from minister post and appoint as NCP state president. Mani C Kappan would then be appointed as minister.
The other option which got green signal in the meeting was to retain Saseendran as minister and Peethambaran as president.
It was evaluated in the meeting that a change in ministership at this point of time, won’t be favourable to the party. Mani C Kappan also informed the leaders of his satisfaction over continuing as MLA.
