The certificates will be made available at the schools by the fourth week of May. The Save a Year (SAY) exam will be conducted between May 23 and 27. The online application for SAY exam can be submitted till May 10.
The Exam Board had approved the results at a meeting held here on Tuesday. Unlike the previous years, no moderation in marks was granted this time. Hence, no changes were made in the results prepared by the Pareeksha Bhavan.
Last year, the announcement of SSLC results was marred by controversy. The haste shown in declaration ended up in mistakes creeping into the results. The lapses occurred while entering the marks to the software in the Pareeksha Bhavan too played the spoilsport. Hence the government took initiatives to avoid such lapses this year.
Experienced officials were deputed for the work and the National Informatics Centre (NIC was given ample time for the tabulation of marks. After incorporating the changes, the pass percentage was 99.16 last year.
