9-yr-old boy crushed to death by school bus; Transport Minister orders probe
Malappuram: Transport Minister AK Saseendran ordered Thrissur deputy Transport Commissioner to carry out a detailed probe into the death of a 9-year-old school boy who was killed in an accident.
Farseen Ahammad is student of Malappuram Kuruva AUP school. He is son of Panchili Shameema, teacher from the same school.
Malappuram enforcement RTO Gokul who carried out the primary investigation reported that driver’s laxity and absence of an attender in the bus during the service led to the accident.
Following the accident, Motor Vehicle Department will cancel the driver’s licence. It is hinted that the education department will be directed to take action against the school authority for operating school bus without attender.
The incident happened at 10 am as the bus was going to the school with the students.
The child boarded the bus from his mother’s house. According to his classmates, Farseen fell off from the bus after the door opened when he pulled his bag which got jammed on the front door. He was crushed to death under the back wheel of the bus after he fell from.
His last rites were performed at Kaduppuram Mahallu Juma Masjid.
