Kochi: A eight-year-old boy died after a broken tree branch fell on his head in Aluva on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Abhinav Krishna, son of Rajesh, hailing from Karattuparamba. Meanwhile, two children were admitted to hospital with injuries.
The incident happened at around 11 am. The area was experiencing stormy winds, leading to the branch of a Banyan Tree falling on top of a group of children playing football nearby. Abhinav suffered serious injuries to his head.
