First the lorry hit against two cars and bikes and the passengers in these vehicles were killed. One of them remains in critical condition.

Thrissur: In a tragic incident, seven vehicles, including lorries and car, collided at Kuthiran here on Thursday early morning. Three people were killed in the accident. Following the mishap, traffic was disrupted on the national highway. The incident took place at 6.45 am.

A goods lorry that was coming from Tamil Nadu lost control and happened to ram into other vehicles that were moving in front and opposite direction resulting in the tragedy. The lorry lost control as its brake was damaged.

First the lorry hit two cars and bikes. Then these vehicles rammed into other vehicles that were going in front. Two of the bike riders and a car passenger were killed in the mishap. The injured were shifted to hospitals.

Following the accident, intense traffic block occurred in the route. Many incidents similar to this take place at Kuthiran frequently.
