6 policemen at Angamaly station under quarantine after accused tests COVID-19 positive
Kochi: Six policemen attached to the Angamaly police station are under quarantine after an accused tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday. The accused is a native of Thuravoor.
On Friday, the Thuravoor native was arrested along with two others. The three are accused in a gold robbery case that took place one year ago. When their samples were tested, one came out positive.
Following this the police officers who were in contact with the accused were asked to go under quarantine.
The station and its premises are being disinfected with the help of the fire and rescue service.
