The hospital staff handed them gifts before leaving as directed by the district Collector. Cake and a food kit including dinner for today along with food grains and vegetables for preparing food the next day were given to them as gifts.
The family is instructed to strictly follow the guidelines while staying in home-quarantine for 14 days. Earlier, the family had faced a lot of criticism alleging that they intentionally hid the travel history and spread the disease.
Following this, the district administration and health workers gave awareness to the neighbours prior to the family's return in order to ensure that no mental stress is caused to them.
