4 nabbed for attempting to murder Aluva hotel owner

Kochi: Police arrested four for attempting to murder a hotel owner at Aluva on Thursday. Siyad(37), Shahul (35), Suneer (23) and Sanoop (32) were arrested by a team of Aluva Police.

According to the complainant, the accused attacked the hotel owner of Turkish Mandi, a hotel in Aluva, for demanding payment after lunch. The group left the place without paying money and returned later to attack the owner.

The accused absconded soon after the incident. However, a team led by District Police Chief Vivek Kumar nabbed the accused within hours from multiple locations in the district.

Siyad, one of the accused, has around ten cases registered against him.
