Kozhikode: Four bullets were recovered from the body of Maoist Velmurugan who was killed in the encounter in Wayanad. The bullets were recovered during the post-mortem held at Kozhikode medical college. The post-mortem report also mentioned over 40 wounds on his body.
The bullets were found during an X-ray examination. Over 40 wounds were found on the chest and stomach of the body.
The post-mortem report also pointed out that Velmurugan suffered the injuries during the battle with police. Marks of bullet injuries were also found on his body. Following this, his body was taken for X-ray.
