Adimali: Three men were hospitalised after consuming alcohol from a bottle found abandoned on the side of the road in Idukki on Sunday. Anil Kumar, Manoj, and Kunjumon are currently undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College. The condition of Kunjumon remains critical.
The youth informed the Adimali police that they consumed alcohol from a liquor bottle found on the side of the road on Sunday morning. Kunjumon and Anilkumar fell ill soon after and were admitted to Adimali Taluk hospital. They were shifted to Kottayam medical college after their condition worsened. Following this, Manoj was also taken to Taluk hospital and later shifted to Kottayam Medical College.
Adimala police have launched a probe into the incident. It is suspected that they consumed bootleg alcohol. The search is ongoing in the area where they received the alcohol bottle.
