Kollam: Kilikollur Police arrested three youngsters for stealing expensive equipment from a tattoo studio in Kollam. The accused are identified as Muhammed Taufeeq(18), Amal Nath(20), and Ashwin(19).
Police officials said that Taufeeq had a tattoo at the same shop on Wednesday. After learning the surroundings and eyeing types of equipment, he returned with others to rob the studio on Thursday morning. Police said that equipment worth Rs 1.50 lakh was robbed by the gang.
The robbery took place at the tattoo studio in Sarathi Junction near Karikkode on Thursday morning. The tattoo shop belonged to Sathpriyan and Abhaya, a couple hailing from Ramanuja Nagar in Kilikollur.
The youth were identified using CCTV footage retrieved from nearby shops.
