3-year-old girl who went missing from Rajakumari in Idukki found


Idukki: The 3-year-old girl missing since Tuesday in Rajakumari was finally found after an extensive search. Jessica, the daughter of Madhya Pradesh natives, was found two kilometres away inside a cardamom plantation.

The search came to a fruitful conclusion after a combined effort from locals, police and fire force officials. It is learned that the condition of the child is stable.

The child went missing from the B Division of Rajakumari village on Tuesday evening. The girl was last seen playing with another child from the area. However, the girl was later found missing. It is still unclear how the child ended up two kilometres away.

Santhanpara Police initiated a search headed by station CI, along with locals and fire force officials. However, the child was nowhere to be found. On Wednesday, Munnar DySP took over the case, and an investigation has been initiated.
