Thiruvananthapuram: There are 3 new hotspots in Kerala while 3 wards have been removed from the list. At present, there are 123 hotspots in the state.
The new hotspots are - Panur (ward 3, 26, 31) in Kannur, Kozhikode corporation (ward 56, 62, 66) and Olavanna (ward 9) in Kozhikode district.
Padiyur (all wards) and Keezhallur (sub ward 4) in Kannur district and Anakkara (ward 13) in Palakkad district have been removed from the list of containment zones.
Kerala recorded 160 new COVID cases on Thursday while 202 people recovered from the disease.
This is the highest number of coronavirus recoveries recorded in the state in 24 hours. However, Kerala continued to record over 100 virus cases for the 14th consecutive day.
