The car in which they were travelling happened to hit behind a truck at Nizamabad.

Kozhikode: Three Keralites, including a toddler, were killed in a road accident that occurred in Telangana. The mishap took place while they were coming to their residence in Kozhikode from Bihar.

The deceased are identified as Kozhikode Chembukadavu native Aneesh, his daughter Anamika and driver Staney, who is a Mangaluru-based Keralite. The accident occurred in the wee hours of Saturday.

The car in which they were travelling happened to hit a truck from behind at Nizamabad. Aneesh's wife and elder child were rushed to a hospital in Nizamabad with severe injuries.

Aneesh's brother and family also had set out to Kozhikode in another vehicle with them. They were teachers in a school in Bihar. It is suspected that the driver might have slept while driving and this led to the mishap.
