24 perons who had contact with COVID-19 positive social worker in Idukki test negative

Thodupuzha: The test results of 24 persons, who were in contact with a social worker who had tested positive for COVID-19, have turned out negative.

The results came out on Monday and included that of a 10-month-old child.

So far, only a friend of the social worker has tested positive for COVID-19, on Sunday.

The social worker’s second test result had come out negative on Sunday. If the third test result also comes out negative, he will be able to go home. However, the social worker will have to remain in home quarantine for 28 more days.

Meanwhile, the test results of 10 people from Thrissur have come out negative for coronavirus. None of the family members of the COVID-19 patient from Punnayur in Chavakkad have tested positive for coronavirus.
