Kasaragod: As many as 21 passengers were injured after a bus overturned in Mattalayi near Cheruvathur on Wednesday.
The accident happened on the national highway near the Technical school. The private bus, servicing between Kannur-Kasaragod, overturned while trying to overtake a KSRTC bus.
The injured were rushed to private hospitals in Cheruvathur and Payyanur. It is learned that the condition of a child and four others are serious.
