2 students who appeared for KEAM test +ve for COVID


Two students who appeared for the exam at centres in Thycaud and Karamana were diagnosed with the disease.

Thiruvananthapuram: Students who appeared for KEAM entrance examination in Thiruvananthapuram have been confirmed with COVID-19. Two students who appeared for the exam at centres in Thycaud and Karamana were diagnosed with the disease.

The test results of the students hailing from Pozhiyoor and Karakulam came on Monday night. The student from Karakulam appeared for the entrance at Karamana and the Pozhiyoor native student wrote the exam at Thycaud. The student from Karakulam already had symptoms of the disease and was allowed to write the exam in isolation.

However, the student who appeared for the exam at Thycaud centre with other students. The authorities are tracing those who accompanied the student to the centre and those who came in contact with him in order to quarantine them safely.
