Thiruvananthapuram: Two police officers were suspended for violating the poll code. The suspended officers are working in Malayinkeezhu and Neyyattinkara police stations in Thiruvananthapuram.

The officers are Hareesh, assistant sub inspector of Malayinkeezhu station and Ajith, senior civil police officer of Neyyattinkara station.

Hareesh was suspended for distributing voters’ slip for the UDF candidate during the assembly election. Ajith was suspended for campaigning for LDF candidate through social media. Both were suspended by Thiruvananthapuram Range DIG.
