Thrissur: Two persons were killed in a bike accident at Kunnathangadi in Arimbur here. The deceased are identified as Kunnathangadi native Francis aka Joy (48) and Vadanappally native Badaruddeen (53).
The accident took place near Kunnathangadi bar on Monday at 4.30 in the morning. Badaruddeen was working in Sakthan market in Thrissur. He was going to his workplace on the bike early morning.
The bike lost control on the way and happened to hit Francis who was walking along the roadside. Both sustained severe injuries and were taken to a private hospital immediately. However, their lives could not be saved. Anthikad police completed inquest procedures.
