2 Gulf returnees tested +ve for COVID-19 in Kozhikode; route map released

The collector said that there is no need to panic. He further asked people to strictly follow the instructions from the government and health workers.

Kozhikode: The District Collector said that both persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Kozhikode arrived from abroad. The route map of both persons were released.

The first arrived at Kozhikode international airpot by Ethihad Airways EY 250 flight from Abu Dhabi on March 13 at 3.20 am. He went to his house in a private vehicle and remained in isolation. Everyone in his house have been quarantined. Also, those who visited the patient were traced and quarantined.

The second person arrived at Kozhikode international airport in Air India AI 938 flight from Dubai on March 20 at 9.50 pm. He reached Kozhikode government medical college in an ambulance.

The collector said that there is no need to panic. He further asked people to strictly follow the instructions from the government and health workers.
