2.67 crore voters in Kerala to exercise franchise in Assembly election


Out of the 2.67 crore voters, 1,37,79,263 are women, 1,02,95,202 are men and 221 transgenders.

Thiruvananthapuram: A total of 2.67 crore voters in Kerala will exercise their franchise in the Assembly election, said Chief Election Commissioner Teeka Ram Meena.

He added that those who have not been named in the voters list will be given a chance to add their names.



Out of the 2.67 crore voters, 1,37,79,263 are women, 1,02,95,202 are men and 221 transgenders.

The most number of voters are in Malappuram – 32,14,943. There are 2.99 lakh new voters while 1.56 lakh voters have been removed from the list.
