Kattappana: In a tragic incident, a vehicle carrying Sabarimala pilgrims fell over a house in Idukki on Monday. The incident took place at Parakkadavu in Kattappana around 3.45 am. A total of 16 students have sustained injuries in the incident.
The victims have been identified as natives of Tamil Nadu. They are currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kattappana.
As per reports, the minivan, which lost control, fell over the car porch of the house. The residents came to know about the accident on hearing a loud noise of the crash.
Meanwhile, the rescue operations were carried out by the local residents and the police.
