14 days crucial for Kerala; no advice, actions will speak: Kadakampally
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister Kadakampally Surendran said that the upcoming 14 days are crucial for Kerala. He added that advice and requests has stopped and strict action will be taken against those who violate the restrictions.
Now strict action is taken only in Kasaragod. People who step out of houses will be arrested there. The disease was confirmed in those who arrived from abroad, those who came in contact with them and some foreigners only. Community spreading has not occurred yet and it is really good for us, the minister said.
People should cooperate with all actions of the government. Unnecessary gatherings should be avoided and should inform the authorities, if any such incident is noticed. Stringent action will be taken. The shops in Kasaragod should open at 11 am and close at 5 pm, the minister added.
The shops in other districts can be opened at 7 am and shut at 5 pm. Only the shops that sell essential things are allowed to open. Now it is time to stop giving advices. Those violating restriction will face stringent action, the minister made it clear.
