The boy was rushed to Medical College hospital with severe injuries, but his life could not be saved.

Puthupally (Kottayam): A ten-year-old boy was killed after two ambulances collided between Vakathanam and Puthuppally here.

The ambulances were overspeeding and collided with each other on the road. Following this, one of the ambulances lost control and hit the boy who was walking to a shop nearby. The ambulance then hit against a post in front of the shop before it stopped. The ambulance was empty.

The boy was rushed to Medical College hospital with severe injuries, but his life could not be saved. No one else were injured in the mishap.
