Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George informed that 1,72,185 children received the vaccine as part of the Covid vaccination drive for those above the age of 12 in the state.
64,415 children received vaccines as part of the vaccination drive on Saturday.
12,576 children in the age group of 15 to 17 and 51,889 children in the age group 12 to 14 got the jab. Of children aged 15 to 17 who got vaccinated, 5746 got the first dose and 6780 received both doses.
