'Comrades' rule police stations, alleges Kummanam
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan charged that comrades (CPM activists) are ruling the police stations under the LDF regime.
Citing the incident of a DYFI activist taking selfie by wearing a police cap after being arrested for assault on BJP activists, Kummanam said the instance substantiates his allegation.
“The accused further captioned the photo as 'This is Pinarayi’s police.' This demonstrates the inefficiency of state police force,” Kummanam said.
“The police who supported violence in Thiruvananthapuram had shown their attitude after allowing the accused to pause for a selfie wearing a police cap,” slammed Kummanam.
“Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan should give an explanation on the incident,” he added.
