'Centre targeting Muslims, Dalits by banning cattle sale for slaughter'
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister AK Balan has said that the central government's ban on sale of cattle for slaughter will seriously affect poor Muslims and Dalits.
“The Centre which has been making minorities anxious from the beginning has now targeted lakhs of Dalits who are earning a livelihood through leather industry. Meat is a nutritious food that is available to the common man for cheap rates. Lakhs of Dalits are earning their livelihood through the leather industry. The Centre's order is against the right of man to live and earn a livelihood. The Centre is implementing RSS agenda through this order," Balan said in a Facebook post.
