‘Akshaya Chechi’ to serve public with a smile
Alappuzha: Akshaya centres in the state will have a makeover with trained staff to serve the public. Now, there will be no need to complain over the staff who is in-charge of Akshaya centres. The staff who will be called as ‘Akshaya chechi’ will be there at your service with a warm smile.
‘Akshaya Chechi’ will clear your queries at the centres. At present, over 10,000 women are working at 2600 Akshaya centres in Kerala.
Special training will be given to these staff to introduce them as ‘Akshya Chechi’.
The State IT Mission has decided to train the staff following public complaints over rude behaviour of staff at the Akshaya centres. Some people took to their social media pages revealing their bad experience at these centres. Following this, IT mission has launched the training programme to make Akashya centres public-friendly in nature.
IT Mission has planned another project with the tag line ‘Snehapoorvam Akshaya’ to strengthen the bond with public. A logo featuring ‘Akshaya Chechi’ is also designed for this. This logo will be visible on the posters and boards of Akshaya.
