New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the 'Mann Ki Baat' radio address on Sunday at 11 am for the first time during the 21-day lockdown period which was implemented following the coronavirus outbreak in the country posing threat to normal public life.
The prime minister tweeted on Saturday night that the Sunday's episode will be focused on the situation prevailing due to COVID-19. The radio address will be available at All India Radio, Doordarshan and Narendra Modi mobile app also.
Earlier, the prime minister called for a Janata Curfew as a mockdrill ahead of the 21-day lockdown to make the people aware of the situation. Following the successful implementation of the curfew, the lockdown was announced in order to avoid social distancing which is the major cause of disease spreading.
