Supreme Court to declare verdict on EPF case today

New Delhi: Supreme Court of India will declare the verdict on the Employees Provident Fund pension case on Friday at 10.30 am.

The case was heard by a Bench of Chief Justice U.U. Lalit, Justices Aniruddha Bose and Sudhanshu Dhulia for 6 days. The bench was presided over by chief justice UU Lalit.

The special bench was considering the plea filed by the Employees Provident Fund Organisation and the Ministry of Labour and Employment against the High Court order of 2018 which directed to dispense of pensions in proportion to the increased salaries.
