Mumbai: The various state leaders of Shiv Sena declared that the traditional customs in Sabarimala need to be protected and to win this demand, ‘Ayyappa Jyothi Prayanam’ will be conducted in around seven states.
The leaders were addressing the media in Mumbai after a meeting with Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray. Shiv Sena Kerala Pramukh MS Bhuvana Chandran alleged that the police are taking action against Ayyappa devotees under the pretext of implementing the Supreme Court.
He also demanded that the prohibitory order in the pilgrimage center should be withdrawn along with the police.
In the meeting held in Mumbai, Shiv Sena Karnataka state leaders Raju Bhavani, Madhukar Mudradi, Hyderabad Shiv Sena city president Arjun Yadav, Ayyappa Raksha Samiti Maharashtra organizing secretary Balan Nair and Shiv Sena Kerala spokesman Adv. G Hari Kumar attended the meeting held in Mumbai.
