Bengaluru: Former Congress president and former Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi visited party veteran and former chief Oommen Chandy, who is undergoing treatment for viral pneumonia at HealthCare Global Hospital here on Sunday.
Rahul who was in Bengaluru as part of the election campaign paid a visit to the veteran Congress leader around noon on Sunday. He spent around 10 minutes in the hospital and enquired about the health status of Chandy.
Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal and senior party leaders Ramesh Chennithala, and Benny Behanan.
Oommen Chandy was shifted to the hospital last week for immediate medical attention.
