kuki students from Manipur meet CM Pinarayi Vijayan with Annie Raja

New Delhi: A petition was submitted to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan requesting that Kuki students from strife-torn Manipur be aided in completing their studies in Kerala. A delegation of students from Manipur under the leadership of National Federation of Indian Women General Secretary Annie Raja visited the CM at Kerala House in New Delhi and handed over the petition.

The assistance was sought for 67 female students who had to flee Manipur when conflicts arose for a chance to continue their studies in Kerala. After the meeting, Annie Raja informed that the CM assured her that the matter would be taken up seriously and a decision would be taken after discussions with the state Minister for Higher Education.
