Kodagu (Karnataka): Two members of a family have been killed in separate incidents of tiger attack, official sources said on Monday.

According to police, Raju, a 75-year-old farm labourer, was killed in Ponnampet taluk's Palleri village, bordering neighbouring Kerala this morning, while his grandson, Chethan (18) lost his life on Sunday.

Chetan's father Madhu too is said to have suffered injuries during the attack, and is undergoing treatment at a hospital here.

The deceased are said to be agriculture labourers from Mysuru district.

Forest department officials and their teams, along with police officials, visited the spot, and efforts are on to capture the tiger, officials said.
