There will be no body-search. Candidates will be allowed to wear face masks inside the exam hall. Gloves, masks, hand sanitisers and disinfectant will be provided at examination centres.

New Delhi: Candidates appearing for JEE and NEET exams must produce self attested Covid negative certificates. This was mentioned in the safety protocol prepared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Special rooms will be provided for candidates displaying fever or high temperature.

There will be no body search. Candidates will be allowed to wear face masks inside the exam hall. Gloves, masks, hand sanitisers and disinfectant will be provided at examination centres.

Individual bottles of drinking water will be provided to students and teachers. Teachers inside the examination halls must wear face masks and gloves, the NTA protocol stated.

Earlier, the solicitor general, who appeared for the NTA, had informed the Supreme Court that JEE and NEET examinations will be held under strict safety measures in view of the pandemic. NTA officials said the safety protocol will be published soon.
