New Delhi: The central government has banned the companies that undertook the construction of Thalassery-Mahe bypass, which collapsed while under construction.

Centre has banned GHV India and EKK Infrastructure companies.

The bypass, which was being constructed to offer a solution to the traffic congestion at Thalassery and Mahe, collapsed in August. These two companies will no longer be a part of the National Highway construction.
